Iâ€™ve built a cross-dimensional portal, between this world, and one that exists in my mind. A dog I tried to extract, in itâ€™s travels back and forth from reality to imagination, multiplied. And in crossing the mind/body barrier, variations caused by fluctuations in time, space, materials, knowledge and emotions occurred. One creature did not make it in time for my exhibition, but I’ve installed the portal in the gallery so you can see him looking through from the other side.

Two of my favorite artists/people Aya Kakeda, Sara Varon and I have been collaborating as Captain Canoodle. Here is a poster we made together for our show in Mexico City! It will be available as a silkscreen!

We will make an installation as Captain Canoodle and also have some individual works.

Window display at Desert Island

Aya Kakeda, Sara Varon and I made a window display installation for Desert Island, a book store in Williamsburg. It’s a little preview of a show we will have as Captain Canoodle in Mexico City next June. The display should be up until the new year so check it out if you are in Brooklyn! It’s a great store filled with amazing books and art. I would buy everything there if I had the space and $.
