The Summer in Chicago program was centered around Yoyoma’s Silk Road project. Birkdesign designed the brochure to advertise Chicago’s summer events and needed a series of illustrations showcasing the food, fashion, games, art, dance and music from the Silk Road. The images were also used for advertising the event on kiosks throughout the city.
